Test Preparation

We offer tutoring for the WASL, GED, SAT, ACT, GRE, ASVAB, and college entry exams.  We individualize our tutoring to meet your needs as we help you prepare for these tests.   We work with you on developing the skills necessary to achieve higher scores.   This option is perfect for the busy student or the student needing additional help with filling in skill gaps.  

 

 SAT Prep Seminars

We also offer 4 session SAT seminars that provide 14 hours of instruction with study materials. Our Summer SAT seminar provides 16 hours of instruction with study materials. These seminars are designed to give you effective strategies in the critical reading, math, and writing sections of the new SAT. Optional tutoring is available to address individual needs such as skill gaps in a specific area.   The SAT seminars are usually on the four consecutive Saturdays before the SAT exam date.  Space is limited to send registrations in early to reserve a seat.

 Achievement Testing for Grades 2 - 12

We offer achievement testing for public/private school students in addition to homeschool testing for grades 2 - 12. Pre-registration is required. 

The California Achievement Test (CAT/5) is offered throughout the year as a one-day or multiple day test and is proctored by our test administrators. This test can be administered in a group or individually.  The CAT/5 Core Battery includes Language and Math. The CAT/5 Complete Battery includes Language, Math, Study Skills, Science, and Social Studies. A skill-gap analysis done at our office provides you with information about specific skill gaps that were revealed by the test results.

The Stanford Achievement Test (SAT-9) is offered in May as a two-day full, comprehensive test. This test is only offered in a group setting. The SAT-9 includes Language, Math, Listening Skills, Science, Social Studies, and Study Skills. The next SAT-9 group testing will be administered on May 7 and 8, 2008 for a two-day test and on May 6 for a one-day test.
